‘Integrated’ wins 10.338 million dinars KNPC contract

The Central Agency for Public Tenders has approved the request of the Kuwait National Petroleum Company to award the tender for scaffolding, painting, and insulation works at Mina Al-Ahmadi Refinery to the Integrated Services Company for Mechanical Contracting and Precision Machines for 10.338 million dinars (lowest bid price).

Informed sources told Al-Rai CAPT has asked the bidders to extend the initial insurance for all companies participating in the tender, noting that it postponed the decision on the KNPC request to float the tender for the maintenance work of electrical systems, fire systems, and sirens at the Mina Abdullah refinery, and to offer the practice of contracting the supply and backup works of the company for further study.

CPAT has also postponed a decision on the Kuwait Oil Company’s request to float a tender for the master plan for the company’s facilities services in the south, east, north, and west regions of Kuwait for further study, while it agreed to publish an amendment on a variable speed drive substation at Gathering Center 25 and related works with a month-long closing date extended.

The sources indicated that the agency requested the extension of the initial insurance for the companies participating in the practice of comprehensive engineering design services and management of major projects for Kuwait Oil Company and related services, stressing that the agency agreed to the company’s request to issue the ninth change order with an increase of 849,031 dinars and a rate of 2.5 percent on the value of the contract — a tender for renting large vehicles and supplying drivers, concluded with Automatic Cars, with a contract extension of 6 months, month by month, starting from February 1, 2022, until next July 31.
