The State Audit Bureau (SAB) in a letter has informed the Public Authority for Housing Welfare that three tenders for the supply, extension and maintenance of 132 kV ground cables for feeding 8 major substations in the suburbs N6, N9, N10 in the city of Al-Mutla’a have been turned down due to what it called ‘incorrectness’ – for not offering the tenders to the lowest bidder despite the fact that the bidder had fulfilled all technical conditions.

 the Bureau took the decision after the Ministry of Electricity and Water – the authority responsible for determining the issue weighed in favor of the lowest bidder.
