About Contractor (Company)
Gulf Dredging & General Contracting Company K.S.C (GD) was formed in 1975 as a Joint Shareholding Company of the Government of Kuwait and Ballast Nedam of Netherlands, to cater to the growing requirements of dredging, in and around Kuwait. Starting off the business solely in dredging, with a fleet of Cutter Suction Dredgers, Backhoe Dredger and Allied equipment, the company concentrated in the Capital Dredging projects in Kuwait. Later in 1980, the Company diversified into other areas of Marine Construction.Gulf Dredging is accredited with ISO 9001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007 and is a member of International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA).
